Wolf Creek Equine strives to provide a safe and easy surgery center equipped with the necessary tools for any procedure and occasion that may arise. Anesthesia monitoring begins as soon as the horse is brought into our padded drop-stall which our anesthesia technician stays with the patient through the entire procedure until back safely into their stall. Our in-house laboratory offers additional monitoring during surgery to help our anesthesiologist monitor patients during emergency and elective procedures.
With our up-to-date equipment we can perform large procedures such as colics down to minimally-invasive procedures like joint arthroscopies. Dr. Caniglia is vastly experienced in both emergency and minimally-invasive surgeries providing a wide selection of opportunities for our clients.

Along with specialized testing in our in-house laboratory we also offer outside testing services such as; EIA/AGID testing, EPM, histopathology, cultures and sensitivities, transtracheal and bronchoalveolar lavage analysis, PSSM/HYPP, metabolic panels, progesterone, lyme multiplex assays, cryptorchid panels, Vit E and selenium levels, leptospirosis, and TK-1 testing. These are just some of the many tests we can run with our partnered outside laboratories.

Available for elective procedures and emergencies, our team is prepared with advanced diagnostic procedures, treatments, and care on both inpatient and outpatient basis. We have the expertise and experience to hospitalize and treat many medical conditions including; pneumonia, laminitis, infectious diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, neurological disorders, liver and kidney disease, post-operative care and rehab, and neonates. Our around the clock staff ensures your horse is getting the necessary treatments and care it deserves while under 24/7 surveillance with cameras in our ICU and foaling stalls.
