Veterinary Technician
We are looking for a hard working and self-driven individual to join our ICU team at our equine hospital/emergency center. Hours would be some midnight-8am and /or 8am-4pm Sundays with the opportunity for more such as truck positions, office, and laboratory. Prior horse handling experience is a must (minimum of 2 years). Past schooling, CVT, equine science degrees, or past animal hospital experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Jon includes patient treatments, emergency blood work, hospital chores, cleaning of patient stalls, post-operative patient care, admitting emergency patients and assisting in emergency surgeries. Starting salary depending on experience and training. PTO, medical, sick days, and 401k available.
