Foot and hoof problems such as laminitis (acute and chronic), heal pain, pedal osteitis, quarter cracks, avulsions of the hoof wall, or bone infections can only be managed with a cooperative effort between farrier and veterinarian

Our farrier, Mr. Mike Bailey, is a Certified Journeyman and works cooperatively with the WCEC Doctors to craft the necessary supportive foot protection our patients need to recover.   Therapeutic medications, hoof surgeries, plastic techniques that repair the hoof wall, and glue-on shoes allow horses with hoof problems to perform again.
